Winter is now really here, the temperatures are down in the minuses and the wind chill last night was terrible. Hubby and I went to Sydney last Friday and in was pouring with rain but got to fit in a lot of things but unfortunately we did not get to see the grandchildren, maybe when we go down next Tuesday. We did manage to buy stoves, fridges and a coffee machine for the kitchen in the new Church, some of the planting for the gardens will be done next week, the brick work should be finished as well as the gyprocking. The road is getting pulled up for the water and sewer connections today and hopefully we will be having our first Church service on the 19th June.

Brrr, we had the first icy windscreen of the season yesterday morning. As cold as it was here, I know you would have been colder there, where abouts are you (general area if you don't wish to share exact location).
Traveled out to Coolah a couple of weekends ago, it wasn't as cold as we thought it might be, rained a lot though.
Hi Cherly, winter is definetly here and I have pulled out my long johns. I am in the Mudgee area, a few years ago we did get snow flakes, Brrrrr.

Hope it warms up. I hate cold. We're in spring now - soon to be summer, so I'll send you some sunshine. LOL!
Thanks Wendy, bring on the sunshine, i'll just go put another log on the fire brrrr :)
Went to Coolah, via Mudgee, lunched there and visited the Honey Haven.
Husband and I discussed a country move yesterday, whether we do it is another story. He wants warmth and I want cooler. Suggested Lithgow but he said too cold, but then today noticed a job advertised in Dubbo, he doesn't mind Dubbo.
Hi Cheryl, I love the country out here, we live out of town but I think Mudgee is such a beautiful country town. Dubbo is nice but it doesn't have that counry charm. Hope you do make the move to a special place.
